This exhibition, Efflorescent, combines ceramics, fabric, paper, and other materials to create an arranged space that references the garden or home. Assertive floral patterns flood the surface of objects. A lineage of vegetal ornament is digested with painterly gesture and mark. These patterns serve to create context, a sense of belonging, and to advocate for decoration’s place in the gallery.
